Speaker Profile
Peter Ivanov is a manager, entrepreneur, and virtual teams expert with more than 20 years of international experience. Born in Bulgaria, he graduated in Mathematics and began his career as a data analyst at a multinational company. He quickly advanced to become IT Manager for Bulgaria and later IT Services Manager for Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Recognizing the increasing importance of geographically dispersed teams, Peter developed an innovative approach to leading virtual teams. In 2007, the team he led received the “Best of the Best” award for outstanding project management in establishing global shared services, and in 2012, his team won the “Global IT Connect Award” for excellence in engagement within a global cross-functional environment. In 2013, Peter founded Virtual Power Teams and embarked on a new career as a keynote speaker and executive coach specializing in New Leadership. In 2023, he completed the MIT program “AI for Business Strategy” and has since helped numerous businesses and public administrations embrace artificial intelligence and unlock significant value from the AI revolution.
